My Great Grandmother

It's kind of funny how when you see an old picture (like the one I just posted of my great grandmother) you wonder what that person was like, what kind of life they had and just who they were in general. I received a stack of photos from my aunt a few weeks ago and it just amazes me that these people are actually related to me. You wonder what their daily life was like, how they managed all those kids they used to have and how they got by with so little. It really puts things in perspective today doesn't it?

Beautiful Day!!

Today is going to be an absolutely beautiful day! I'm taking the kids for a walk and enjoying every minute of it after this long winter. It should hit almost 60 today!! Wow!!! Bye for now!

A New Beginning

For some reason this year I'm dying for spring. Coming from New England our winters are usually pretty cold, but this year was the snowiest and coldest I've seen in a long time. But just this morning I saw a couple of robins which always makes me feel good that spring is just around the corner. I can't wait to start planting those flowers and vegetables and just being outside. I think my little ones are anxious to get out too! I've just had my fill of SNOW this year!
